I can't begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for the staff at McKenzie Mortuary. When my father passed away my mother entrusted me with planning my father's funeral service. I honestly wasn't sure if I could handle it but I knew I had to. When I arrived at McKenzie I received a warm welcome, comforting smiles and the reassure that they would do all they could to make the planning process as easy as possible. They gave us an affordable plan, allowed us time to arrange burial services and made sure my father's funeral was just the way he wanted it. I especially want to thank Erika for being so compassionate, professional and attentive to our needs. I'm so happy that I took the journey of laying my beloved father to rest with McKenzie Mortuary. McKenzie Mortuary provided excellent service after my wife's death. They made the paperwork as simple as possible and made all the arrangements for her burial at sea. McKenzie Mortuary was kind and considerate throughout the entire process. I recommend them.

My mom made arrangements with McKenzie before she passed away. They were extremely professional, picked her body up very quickly, and took care of her cremation, cancelling her social security, and her death certificates. I would highly recommend them.

I’m retired and my wife and I moved out of state several years ago to be closer to our grand children. My younger brother passed away suddenly at home in Long Beach, CA and he never married and didn’t have any children. So, wrapping up his affairs (mostly from long distance) were left to me. I called several Long Beach area mortuaries and finally found one that actually had a real person answer the phone. That was McKenzie Mortuary in Long Beach. I was able to actually talk to someone who was knowledgeable and could help me over the phone. They were a real blessing to me during a very stressful time (I was also taking care of my wife who was very ill).
